From 15 September 2026, passport holders of 60 countries and territories – including the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, France, Germany and Japan – can visit Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days (the earlier 60-day exemption has ended). Other nationalities need a tourist visa, applied for online through Thailand's official e-Visa system. Travellers also complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before arrival.
