This list is based on public passport data (updated June 2026) plus official changes since then – rules change, so always double-check before booking.

Visa on arrival

  • Maldives – free 30-day entry permit on arrival for all nationalities
  • Indonesia (Bali) – visa on arrival or e-VOA
  • Sri Lanka – apply for the ETA before travel
  • Jordan, Cambodia, Laos, Tanzania – visa on arrival (e-Visa options also available)

Easy e-Visas (apply online)

  • Georgia – and if you hold a valid UAE residence permit, you may be able to enter visa-free for up to 90 days (see our Georgia guide)
  • Azerbaijan – ASAN e-Visa, usually within a few days
  • Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan – quick online e-Visas
  • Vietnam – e-Visa for up to 90 days
  • Oman, Bahrain – online e-Visas
  • Egypt, Kenya (eTA) – online before travel

Frequently asked questions

Can Indians visit Thailand without a visa from Dubai?

Yes. From 15 September 2026, Indian passport holders can visit Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism.

Is Malaysia visa-free for Indians?

Yes, currently for up to 30 days under a temporary exemption that runs until 31 December 2026. You must complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card.

Can Indian UAE residents enter Georgia without a visa?

Holders of a valid UAE residence permit can generally enter Georgia visa-free for up to 90 days in 180 days, subject to conditions. We confirm your case.
